Palm Sunday is a feast that falls on the Sunday before Easter. The feast commemorates Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem, an event mentioned in each of the four canonical Gospels. Palm Sunday marks the first day of Holy Week. Come and join us!
We will meet at 10 am at Trinity's tree (on West St.) and enter the sanctuary in procession.
In-person Service at 10 am / Virtual Services at 9 am.
Stay-at-home Easter Egg Hunt.
We are planning a “Stay-At-Home” Easter Egg Hunt this year. Here are the steps:
Pick up your Easter eggs at church on Palm Sunday.
A winner will be selected and awarded an Easter gift basket.
Join us for worship experiences this Holy Week. During Holy Week, we recall the events leading up to Jesus’ death by crucifixion and his Resurrection. The week includes days of special significance. The first is Palm Sunday, which commemorates Jesus’ humble entry into Jerusalem to observe Passover. Maundy Thursday marks Jesus’ institution at the Last Supper. Good Friday commemorates Jesus’ suffering and death on the cross; it is traditionally a day of sorrow, penance, and fasting. And Easter Sunday is the celebration of Jesus’ Resurrection on the third day after his crucifixion.
Thanks for completing the Easter survey. Based on the results, we will be meeting for worship the following days:
Make Easter offerings online during the Easter season!
It is encouraging to see both new and familiar faces at our worship services. Throughout the year, many of you already support the congregation with your time, talent and financial contributions. But greater seasonal participation is always welcome. Thanks for supporting our ministries that bring clothing, food, shelter, and hope to our neighbors. We encourage you to consider our electronic giving program. It takes just a few minutes to set up a recurring giving plan. To learn more, visit the church website: www.tumcbordentown.org to locate the donation link. We thank you for supporting our mission!
Please join us to give thanks to God for all the blessings received and for all our prayer requests. Please click here to read the full list. Thank you.
