Grundy County is growing, and so is the GEDC! We are accepting applications for a:

• Business Director and
• Marketing and Program Coordinator. 

Now in its 31st year, the GEDC continues to expand and provide services to local businesses, attract new jobs, and encourage private investment.

On June 13, the interns and their supervisors gathered for breakfast with the GEDC and Senator Sue Rezin to launch the internship season. This year, 38 interns are beginning their summer experiences at 14 organizations across Grundy County.

A wide variety of placements were available to this year's interns; from marketing to healthcare, industrial operations to accounting, these foundational experiences inside the organizations which make Grundy County "go" are key to retaining the talented young people who help to keep Grundy's economy vibrant. 

Thank you to all of this year's interns, the participating companies, and our educational partners. A huge thank you to Senator Sue Rezin for her support of the program.
