Register your Board and Chairs with Council. If you don't have them ALL filled...that is fine. Submit and edit...we just want to make sure your PTA is in the loop. We may have quick POP UP training and videos to help with the transition and support you.
Register your board with Texas PTA (each officer/chair must do so separately).

Financial Reconciliation: Ensure the treasurer’s books are reconciled in a timely manner. The reconciliation should happen the month after the end of the fiscal year and after the bank statement for the last month of the fiscal year is reconciled. Ideally, 990s are filed by the current treasurer prior to handing the records over to the committee.
Check Signers: Arrange to have signer information changed at the bank where you do PTA business. Call ahead regarding their account signer change procedures.
Membership Drive: Plan your membership drive(s). Go to txpta.org to order membership kits and envelopes. These can be ordered from the Texas PTA or purchased at LAUNCH. Encourage your community to “back the future” and remember that membership is a year-round campaign.
Sales Tax: Remind your treasurer that sales tax is due July 20th (if filing quarterly).
