Questions From Members
Q - What are the rules around shared facilities if we are in fact allowed to open up on 17th May?
A - We are expecting further guidance on this but anticipate that shared facilities at this point will be permitted subject to certain covid secure practices. We will share definite details as soon as we have them.
Q - From 17th May, can different households share a room?
A - Yes, from 17th May a group of 6 people or 2 households are permitted to mix indoors.
Q - Can self-catering premises that have communal entrances to the building but their own front door re-open on 12th April?
A - The updated wording relating to this states "Self-contained holiday accommodation in which all facilities (including for sleeping, catering, bathing, and indoor lobbies and corridors for entry and exit) are restricted to exclusive use of a single household/support bubble will reopen." Visit England believe that this means those premises with a communal entrance cannot open, however, a local cottage agency believe differently and we are urngently seeking further guidance on this.
