Wow! So many FIRSTs in The Gambia.
Our 1st Easter service at Al-Masih Worship Center was April 17th. We had 102 people attend and 8 of those people accepted Jesus as Savior for the 1st time. God is pouring out His Spirit here and transforming lives!
After Easter service, was a second service to celebrate the Inauguration of Al-Masih Gambian Assemblies of God. The church is officially registered with the Gambian government through the Gambian Council of Churches. As a part of this inauguration event, eight Executive Presbytery members were installed and five men of God received Licensed Pastoral Credentials. No Assemblies of God ministers have ever been credentialed in The Gambia before this day. This was truly a historic day for The Church in The Gambia.
Just a few weeks later on May 21st was the 1st ever Graduation ceremony for Al-Masih Training Center. Thirteen men and women were honored for their hard work and commitment to the call of God on their lives! Each of these students has earned a diploma in Biblical Studies, and it is our honor to have helped teach some of them.
The future is bright for The Gambia; God is building His church and calling His people. We thank God that we get to be a part of what He is going here, and we thank God that you are part of this ministry also.
