Our Series were initiated as far back as 2016, starting with our list of 201 Capitals of the world. Gradually, we saw the need to develop a nicely organised listing of things to see and do.
Now, the NomadMania Series is one of our most used and exciting features. Many NomadMania members actually live for these Series and define their travel itineraries based on them.
It’s a good time to share an overview with our community, with some recent developments and future plans for our Series lists. Enjoy and read here :-)
Algeria Trip Report
In May, we discovered Algeria by focusing on its ‘secondary’ lesser-known sites. We worked closely with our great friend Wassim Allache, founder of the leading Algerian agency Algeria Tours 16, to create an alternative itinerary.
This is a country with so many contrasts that it feels like visiting three or four countries at once. The locals were welcoming and curious throughout, even when the police are being a bit of a nuisance.

Minor updates on the Profile Page
Recently we introduced some minor updates on the user profile page aiming to synchronize the app and web versions. This mostly refers to the ranking categories order and last 90 days data updates.
Recent NomadMania Meetings
Last weekend we hosted three meetings :-)
Two of them were held simultaneously on August 24th in North America, in Vancouver, Canada and Nashville, USA, respectively.
Additionally, on Sunday (August 25th) our Envoy for Greece, Cyprus and Bulgaria, Vassilis Stamatelopoulos, hosted a NomadMania meeting in the Lyrarakis vineyard, a few kilometres outside the city of Heaklion in Crete. The event included a travel book presentation by our member Paulos Georgizas.
