Whether you're new to gardening or a master, the Kennett Library's free Seed Library is a great resource to help you grow some of your own food, herbs, and flowers. Stop by to talk seeds, learn more, and explore the large variety currently available 🌱 The Seed Library is popping up each Friday in May. 

Kennett Library will also visit with seed related special guests the last Friday of each month (May–Sept). Save the date for next Friday's guest: Julia Steiner from the Brandywine Conservancy & Museum of Art.

We continue to accept non-perishables every week for Kennett Area Community Service, as the need is great.

Look for a table with a KACS Food Drive sign near market entry, and we'll make sure your donation gets to them. All food items should be new/unopened + unexpired.

Join us in welcoming Full Table Farm to KSQ this week! Full Table is a small vegetable farm established in 2020 when Liam Miller, an experienced farmer, and his partner Tim put down roots in Kennett. They have been regular shoppers at KSQ since then, and we’re excited for Liam to dig deeper into our community by becoming a regular producer at market!

Full Table will be at market this Friday + next, then you can expect them on 1st/3rd/5th Fridays starting in June.

Liam utilizes organic and low-till practices to grow around 25 different crops on 2 acres with a small but mighty seasonal crew. What Liam loves most about small-scale vegetable farming is that no two days are alike, and that there’s something new to learn every day. Liam also loves cooking and sharing ideas about how to enjoy the produce you’ll find at market!

This week's expected harvest: lacinato + red russian kale, bibb + Romaine lettuce heads, strawberries 🍓,  french breakfast radishes, arugula, hakurei turnips and spinach

Michael Langer is back to a bi-weekly schedule this season bringing pure, raw wildflower honey sourced directly from his own local Chester County hives. Creamed honey

He also has handcrafted beeswax-based products like hand salves, soaps, wood preservative, and a beautiful variety of pure beeswax candles!

Warwick Furnace Farm is a family-owned and operated Certified Naturally Grown lavender farm in rural Chester County, PA. You will find them at KSQ every 3rd Friday this season, but be sure to visit their website for opportunities to experience the farm!

Amazing Acres brings a fine selection of goat cheeses made from the milk of their happy herd in northern Chester County.

Lindenhof Farm is a small, multi-generational farm owned by Axel & Susan Linde. Located in Kirkwood, PA, just 30 minutes west of Kennett, they raise all-natural, grass-fed, poultry, beef, lamb & hogs on healthy open pasture.

Elizabeth & Douglas use organic and regenerative practices on their farm in Cochranville, PA, to bring incredibly fine produce home grown with love to KSQ every Friday.

This week's expected harvest: “We're happy to introduce Tendita lettuce to our customers this week 🥬 It is a mini cosberg with the juiciness and crunch of an iceberg and the sweetness of romaine. Its spoon-shape leaves are nice for finger foods and salads.

We'll also have red butter lettuce, green romaine, full-size spinach, rhubarb, and asparagus.”
