Sabrina Francis is a rising Afro-Caribbean singer-songwriter from Grenada. Not too long ago, she released a colorful music video for her tropical dancehall single, entitled, “Cocoa Tea.” The video was filmed in London, and the visuals find Sabrina pouring her radiant soul while spreading a positive message of optimism and inner peace.
“I’m an island girl from the West Indies. My music is generally inspired by soul, R&B, and Pop. But if you delve deep enough into my songs, you’d be sure to find some Caribbean elements in there somewhere. It’s a distinctive brew of emotion and stories told with the conviction of a young woman experiencing her best life while also working towards achieving true inner peace.” — Sabrina Francis stated
Sabrina Francis grew up in a humble family without the privileges many take for granted. In her simple yet joyful childhood, the only source of entertainment was singing with her family and friends. Her new material comes after a productive period of writing, gathering memories, and experiences in an uplifting and fun music collection. Always focused on inner peace and mental health preservation, “Cocoa Tea” reflects her firm belief that the only way to be happy is to remain true to yourself.

Arlissa releases an attractive music video for her “Take” single
Arlissa is a Germany-born, London-raised, singer-songwriter based in Los Angeles, California. Not too long ago, she released an attractive music video for her “Take” single, which finds Arlissa getting out of a problematic relationship where she realized the more she loved her significant other, the more she lost herself. She wrote the sentimental tune in the anger stage of grief as it was a great way to process her emotions and regain her power.
“I felt like this person had taken so much of me. But I had compromised my own boundaries, given too much, and lost myself in the process” – Arlissa stated
The video was shot by the amazing, Alex “Grizz” Loucas, and beautifully styled by Hugo Boss. A metaphysical journey, which follows Arlissa through various stages of acceptance of her past relationship, where she experienced remnants of this person in her day-to-day life, in the form of a transparent shape.
‘Take’ is the first of an incredible string of singles that Arlissa will be sharing with the world throughout 2022. The likable tune is very relatable and an empowering anthem for anyone who has given more than he or she has received in a relationship. Furthermore, “Take” serves as a tasty appetizer to what listeners can expect to hear on Arlissa’s upcoming debut album, entitled, “The OPEN-HEARTED,” available at the end of 2022.

Anna Bates releases an appealing music video for her spectacular new single, entitled, “Holy Smokes”
Anna Bates is a singer-songwriter from Los Angeles, California. Classically trained in piano from a young age, it wasn’t until as recently as 2020 that Anna began to release music under her own name. After her track “Holy Smokes” went viral on TikTok, Anna packed up her Belmont dorm and moved back West to pursue a career in music. Not too long ago, she released an appealing music video for her “Holy Smokes” single via Neon Gold Records.
“If you’ve ever traveled down to Venice, California, you know that there’s a lot of this little herb we like to call “marijuana” floating around. I mean if you’re anywhere in LA you can probably follow the smell with your nose to the heart of Venice Beach. Also, down here are lots of men, complete with white linen pants, long hair, and exquisite seventies facial hair, all smoking – you guessed it – a lot of weed. Oddly enough, they resemble the historically inaccurate white Jesus. A weird visual crossover that I found too great not to write a song about. Thus, after this religiously comical revelation came ‘Holy Smokes,’ a song about the gathering of gorgeous pot heads that line the Venice paths.
Around the time I wrote this song, I was on the verge of quitting music as a profession altogether. I was going to take a job up in Yellowstone National Park, set music aside as a hobby, and I was going to become the greatest hermit that ever lived. As I was packing my bags, I uploaded a snippet of ‘Holy Smokes’ to TikTok and it gained a ludicrous amount of traction overnight. While I had been determined to settle down in the woods, it seemed that the making music portion of my life was not ready to be shut down quite yet. So, I declined the job in the mountains, and settled back down to write more tunes.” – Anna Bates explained
‘Holy Smokes’ contains a creative narrative, ear-pleasing vocals, and catchy melodies that will stay stuck in your head after one listen. The refreshing tune possesses delightful guitar-laden instrumentation flavored with alternative, indie-pop, and contemporary folk elements. Furthermore, “Holy Smokes” is featured on Anna Bates’s debut EP, entitled, “Here’s To the End.”
