Coloring & Coffee

Starting Friday, March 3rd, join us weekly between 9 am - 11 am to color and/or have a cup coffee. This is a great way to decompress from a long week.

Coloring has been shown to reduce anxiety by focusing on the moment and giving you the opportunity to relax without electronic devices. We will provide intricate coloring sheets and have some colored pencils, but feel free to bring your own. And coffee just tastes good. Even if you don’t like coffee or coloring, this is a great opportunity to talk to your neighbor. Learn More

Bring in your decorated kite between March 1 and March 31. Judging will be on April 3 and PRIZES will be ready after 11 am.

Dr. Seuss's Birthday

Dr. Seuss’s birthday and Read Across America Day are Thursday, March 2nd. Celebrate this day by reading aloud to a child. Reading aloud stories to children is the best way to prepare them for school and a lifetime of reading. The Children’s Reading Foundation of Appalachia encourages caregivers to read aloud to their children for 20 minutes every day.
