Andrew and Abbie Broeckelman are mobilizers with Christar, working at the main office in Texas. Andrew and Abbie just welcomed their first child in January, a little girl named Lucy!
As part of their work, Andrew and Abbie attend missions conferences around the country and share, engage, and follow up with attendees who are interested in learning more about the opportunity to reach the least reached with the gospel. They also teach classes and seminars on various aspects of missions."Once we meet people initially, follow-up is a major part of how we spend our time. As mobilizers, we are always asking, 'How can we help people take steps forward? How can we challenge people to become more involved in God's global purposes?' We know that mobilization is a process and that it may take years before someone actually winds up overseas. Our desire is to be catalysts in people's lives to move them forward in that process. It's not an easy task, though! That's why we are so grateful to have you partnering with us and praying with us for the hearts of the people we are walking alongside. We know that ultimately it is God's work in people's hearts and we are merely cooperating with Him. Thank you for the role that you play in moving the hearts of people through prayer!"
Prayer requests:
- praise for the arrival of Lucy! prayer for recovery for Abbie
- prayer for wisdom and insight from the Lord as they connect with people and help them take next steps towards going
- prayer for upcoming trainings in January for short-term and long-term workers
