Play Bingo for a Chance to Win a FREE Course Registration!

Do you wish to see more diversity and representation in the Academy's physical therapy educational resources and patient education materials? So would we!

The IDEA Committee is hosting a Photo Bingo Game to promote inclusion of under-represented groups in our continuing education programs. Join us by playing IDEA Bingo to help us build our gallery of more inclusive images that we can use in future patient education and physical therapist educational materials!

Instructions:

Please submit your photo(s) for use in our educational programs and content by April 30, 2022. Each category represented in your photo will automatically enter you into a drawing for 1 complimentary CAPP webinar course of your choice! If your photo makes BINGO by representing 4 categories in a row, then you get 2 extra entries! The next winner can be a PT, PTA, or SPT!

Submissions should include high-quality photos and represent at least one category in IDEA Bingo. Examples include:

Therapists of color treating a person with a diverse body type
A person who identifies as transgender performing functional ADLs
People of varying ethnic backgrounds performing PT exercises, physical activity, or candid shots

Individuals in your submission must fill out the Academy’s Media Release Form signed by the photo subject(s) for the image to be eligible.

If you do not wish to participate in the Bingo game but wish to still contribute photos for our initiative, you are welcome to submit your photos using the same form.

About the IDEA Committee

The Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access Committee (“IDEA” Committee, formerly called Minority Task Force) serves to keep Academy leadership informed of best practices as they relate to IDEA in Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy activities and events, including but not limited to education, research, and conferences. The goal of the IDEA Committee is to make the Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy organization inclusive, welcoming, and accessible to all through educational and promotional channels and increase IDEA knowledge and diversity in the profession and volunteer leadership.
