TURTLES: WHAT’S THEIR STORY? Thursday 4th June 9pm

For World Turtle Day, a free online talk by Zoom from Penang-born Dr Sarahaizad Mohd Salleh. She holds a Degree in Science of  Forestry (UPM), a Master in Zoology (USM) and a PhD in Herpetology (USM), and has almost 10 years experience as a sea turtle researcher in Malaysia, studying breeding biology, nesting ecology, and reproduction. Urban Sketchers Penang present their first online exhibition, in conjunction with the 10th year anniversary of this group of artists who meet every week to sketch a different corner of Penang. The viewing is via Facebook Live here and there will be a live artist sharing at 3pm on Saturday 6th June.

BAMBOO ORCHID CREATION WORKSHOPS Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th June 4.30pm-6pm

The first two of a series of nine free online workshops by local artists via zoom. One subject, nine media.
