We're celebrating libraries week next week with our TechFest event.
Get hands-on with the latest technology, discover learning and find out about career opportunities from local industry experts.
This is a free event being held at Central Library on Saturday, 12 October from 11am-3pm.
The Library shop in Central Library will be hosting a Christmas shopping event on Tuesday, 26 November 6pm - 8pm. There will be artists in residence, local authors, face painting, refreshments and a visit from Santa.
On Thursday, 12 October in conjunction with World Mental Health day, Rusty Goat’s Poetry Corner will be bringing a special edition of live poetry to Central Library.
If you're struggling with your Mental Health, our Reading Well books are free to request and cover a range of common issues. There's also collections on Dementia, long-term conditions and books specifically for young people.
One in six adults find reading a challenge.
Together with the National Literacy Trust we've launched Roundabout Reading to help you on your reading journey and much like the Magic Roundabout you can choose how you get to your end destination.
You could also win prizes for taking part.
