Melvyn Dubofsky (PhD '60) was honored at the New York Labor History Association's John Commerford Labor Education Awards reception on December 1. A multi-generational audience of union organizers, activists, scholars and educators gathered to honor Dr. Dubofsky and his fellow activist scholar Dorothy Sue Cobble.
Clifford S. Fishman (BA '66), who retired in 2019 after 42+ years teaching law at Catholic University of America, just published his 20th law book. Together with his scholarly articles, his publications occupy a full four feet of shelf space and contain more footnotes than any rational person would read in one lifetime, let alone write. This year, he and Betty (née Lohwasser, BA '68) celebrated their 54th anniversary with their two daughters, two sons-in-law and five grandchildren.
