Let's chat about Books, Travels, and Shenanagins!
Welcome to my Universe!

Spring is just around the corner!

I'm not sure about you, but I can't wait to get outside and do some Gardening! I've decided that this year I am going to attempt some container gardens in addition to the perennial gardens that are overtaking my yard. With my schedule, I have let a lot of the plants spread out a little too far, so it is time to rein them in. Too bad the heroine in my final book isn't available, she has just the power that I need to get things under control!

I will be sure to send you some photos once things start to bloom in my part of the world, but in the meantime, I would love to see what you have growing in your yard, especially if the warmer weather has already found you. Drop me a line and send a pic! Would love to know what you have blooming in your world!

Book 4 is on the Horizon!

Finally!

I am happy to announce that I will be shipping Heaven on Earth off to my editor in April, and will be working on the final edits in early May. I will be looking for Advance Reader Copy (ARC) reviewers, so for anyone that might be interested in receiving a copy of Book 4 and dropping me a review, please contact me. I will be forming a review team and would love to include you in the list!

I anticipate that ARC copies will be sent out in early June, with the release of the book a little later that same month.

I have a free EBook promotion on Amazon March 4 to 8, 2020 for anyone who hasn't picked up their copy quite yet. If you are interested in checking it out, now is the time!

For anyone who has already read it, I could really use some reviews on it for Amazon and Goodreads, and would appreciate your consideration in leaving one.

Also, feel free to pass along this offer to anyone else that you think might like my series. I am always looking for new readers! The link below will take you to a site that lists all the places you can put reviews if you are so inclined.

Would love to leave a review!
On the Road Again...

Girl's Trip!

I am taking a weekend road trip with my friends to Nashville, TN and I am super excited! I've never been, and am looking forward to checking out some of the sites there! I am hoping to see a few places that inspire me, and am always on the lookout for some fun photo opportunities. Anyone who is familiar with the area that knows of some must see places, please let me know!

This photo is far from Tennessee, it's in South Dakota, taken on my girls trip in 2018. The road trip was mainly for the RWA Conference I attended that year, but we did manage to see some sites on the way home from Denver, CO. I am so glad we made the Crazy Horse Monument one of the stops since I have had a blast working into the final book in the series. Anytime I can work a place I have been into one of my stories, I try to do so. I feel my writing is all the richer for it, what do you think?

Fangirling with Madeline Miller

Author of "Circe"

As I mentioned last time, I was lucky enough to attend a book signing with Madeline Miller on February 7th. She wrote "Circe.," and for anyone who hasn't read it that likes a fictional take on mythology, be sure to check it out! She is a gifted writer and if you ever get a chance to hear her speak, be sure to go! She was extremely knowledgeable and very inspirational to someone just starting their writing journey.

I stood in line for well over an hour to have her sign my book, and while I didn't get a picture with her, I am happy to report I now have a signed copy of this beautiful book!

Coming up....
AKA: What else have I gotten myself into?

Book 2 in my Paranormal Cozy series is coming along, the ghost is feeding me ideas as I go, but I'm in no rush to start full force into her story. I still have some edits to complete on the first book, and will be looking for an agent as I move forward. I will also be finishing up the Power of Four Series and launching a box set, so more news on that as I get closer to the completion date!

I have been trying to get back into my Mythical Creature posts, which I was doing every Monday on my blog. I have a great deal of research to complete for a few creatures I have my eye on for some upcoming stories, so you may start to see some essays floating through my social media. Anyone who isn't following my blog that would be interested in my writing journey can follow me through my website at www.dahenneman.com.

In the meantime, don't forget to send me those pictures of your garden! Chat soon and happy reading! XO
