Hey ,
I hope you're well!
The Easter holidays are well and truly on and we've got a great edition of the newsletter this week which has lots of fantastic ideas on how to keep your little ones entertained.
In the news this week, Hull Paragon station will be getting a reliability upgrade with Network Rail set to remove and replace more than 500 yards of rail, sleepers and supporting stones this weekend.
Also in the news, Gloria Hunniford OBE will be guest speaking at this year's Women of Achievement Awards and there are new affordable train tickets available for Hull visitors. You can read these and more below.
Over the past few weeks we've been showcasing some of the biggest bands and artists heading to the city this spring. Well this week we're looking forward to the top tribute nights happening across Hull & East Yorkshire's premier venues. There are amazing acts dedicated to bringing you an authentic experience to some of your favourite artists, including Elton John, Little Mix, Oasis, Bob Dylan, and many more.
And with the weather looking like it's heading in the right direction, we've highlighted some of our favourite independent bars across the city so you can enjoy a crisp beverage in the (touch wood) sun - lovely!
As always, Ian has curated a list of this week's biggest events including live comedy from Ed Byrne, magical theatre from Bedknobs and Broomsticks, lots of great live music and some easter fun for the little ones.
Enjoy your week!
