     Time for a brand new year as we welcome in 2019 with a blast.  Starting the year with a MAXIMUM BEST BET play in the bowl action.

     BEST BET results in December were brutal... a little math shows that everything that wasn't a BB play actually did pretty well.  Most of the BB damage came courtesy of a god awful month picking NHL games.

     Those who have followed for a long time know that I typically have only played the NHL during the playoffs and based on the results of the first couple months of the season, that is probably a good idea.  But in my typical fashion,  I consider everything a challenge and while I will certainly adjust my betting on the sport, I will continue to make the plays as before.

     Hope 2019 proves to be a highly profitable and successful year for everyone... not just in terms of gambling, but in every aspect of your lives.  Thanks and best wishes to all.

     Unfortunate for Georgia they were in the same league as Alabama because in my opinion they were the 2nd best team in the country this season.

     They showed me in the SEC title game that they have the offensive teeth to move the ball against anyone and I feel Texas is in for a shock.

     Georgia defense should be more than enough to push Texas around, and as long as the incentive to play the game (which I feel will be there), look for the Bulldogs to be on the winning end of a very impressive score.
