Join VINES for our first build in Vestal!

Join us in growing food and growing community. This is a multiple day build, so we will need all the help we can get. Not only will you be helping with the construction of VINES' 13th Community Garden but you will leave will skills and tips to take home!

April 29th Garden Build: We will be constructing 20 raised community garden beds, filling them with soil and compost and begin staining lumber for our fencing.

May 6th & Math 13th Fence Build: They call it "Deerfield Place" for a reason! Help construct a simple hog wire fence so we can keep the deer out and our veggies happy!

At two of our builds, VINES will be hosting its first ever ALL WOMENS BUILD! Join our Women-Inclusive Build on Sunday April 29 from 9 am - 12 pm or Sunday May 6 from 12:30 pm - 4 pm. Details are below!

VINES is hosting its first ever, All Women's Build!

VINES is hosting its first ever, All Women's Build for an inclusive opportunity for local ladies to get comfortable with power tools, learn basic construction tips and more. There are two opportunities to join in on the fun!

No experience is necessary to attend either workday, VINES will have various stations to teach you with skills to take home, all while building VINES' 13th Community Garden.

-Wear comfortable clothing and dress for the weather
-Wear close-toed shoes
-Bring your own gloves if you'd like, but we'll have plenty!

We are looking to borrow some sawhorses so that we can set up several stations for staining the wood. Please let VINES know if you have one we can borrow by emailing kaitlyn@vinesgardens.org or calling 607-205-8108.
