Gala Raises Scholarship Funds for La Roche Students

Celebrate La Roche!, a gala honoring La Roche College’s 55th anniversary and marking 25 years of the Pacem in Terris Institute was held on April 20, 2018, at the Omni William Penn in downtown Pittsburgh, with Mike Clark of WTAE-TV serving as MC. Alumni, faculty, and friends had a grand time, ending the evening dancing to the sounds of Gary Racan and the Studio-E Band. Alumni came from throughout the United States and from abroad, and our supporters raised more than $75,000 in scholarship funds that will benefit La Roche students most in need. Thank you again to all who attended and supported this event, including our generous sponsors, especially Mr. Richard B. Fisher, the Sisters of Divine Providence, Sage Dining Services, UPMC and UPMC Health Plan, Federated Investors Foundation, Frank B. Fuhrer Wholesale, Howard Hanna Real Estate, the Vernon C. They helped repair and rebuild schools devastated by last year's disastrous hurricanes.
