In the immortal word of Battle of the Bulge General Anthony McAuliffe, Surrender? "Nuts!"

As you can see, Rick Jones is unobtrusive, understated, almost shy. And those last four words are the biggest fib I've told this century. Rick's a Blue Badge Guide (and pianist and freelance writer) who for most of his working life was a journalist. He was chief music critic for the Evening Standard for ten years and he remains Secretary of the Critics Circle (founded 1913).
