While we usually sell a similar number of point-and-shoot and SLR cameras, this summer was a record-breaking period for p&s sales. This makes me think, because even though some camera repair companies have recently started working on certain models of point-and-shoot cameras again, in comparison to a mechanical SLR, they tend to be more fragile and prone to reliability issues over time.
And since point and shoots seem to become more and more popular over time. What will happen when most of them will eventually stop working?
