EP Tourism Talk - June 2022

HUGE news this month as we launch of our 'EP Tourism Network SharePoint page', don't miss this, as this site is your key to staying informed from now on!

On SharePoint you find a Regional Activity Report which outlines key projects we have been working on, and news that in 2021, the EP exceeded its 2025 Visitor Economy target by a massive $91 million. This achievement in my view, reinforces the need for a sustainable approach to  tourism management, which is outlined in the EP Destination Management Plan 2025 (also on SharePoint).

Also in this newsletter you'll find a call for expressions of interest to be involved in a regional marketing group. See details on how to get involved below.

Until next time - Annabelle

Calls for Expressions of Interest

As we come to the end of the financial year, I will be reviewing the previous year's activity against the regional priorities set in the SA Regional Visitor Strategy. To aid in this process, I am seeking a small group of key regional tourism operators to engage in an annual review and discuss destination marketing for the Eyre Peninsula. Business willing to participate in regional marketing will be best suited.

If you would like to be involved please email your expression of interest to Annabelle by 20th of June, or feel free to nominate others as well. Up to 6 nominees will be selected from the submissions.
