It's good to be back again this week with another edition of our newsletter. As lockdown gradually eases up, and spring weather comes along, we're feeling pretty optimistic right now.
We can finally look ahead to big events coming back to Hull & East Yorkshire. After our rundown of the big music gigs coming to Hull in last week's newsletter, this week we've tracked down the biggest names in comedy who are scheduled to come to our region later this year (and early next).
For this week though, we've got some great food recommendations for a nice picnic in the park with your bubble (that line a year ago would have made no sense!), and some really good online events taking place this week including live comedy and a zoom magic show from Britain's Got Talent finalist - Magical Bones.
After getting excited about the new footbridge on Castle Street, we've got a more new development news for Hull including a new city centre multi-storey car park and a new outdoor swimming pool... Take a look!
Whatever you get up to this week, hopefully this will give you some fresh ideas.
Miniature cameras which patients can swallow to get checked for cancer are being trialled across the NHS. The imaging technology, in a capsule no bigger than a pill, can provide a diagnosis within hours.
Things might be looking up, but we still have some time to go before live events are back on around Hull. In the meantime, we’re coming across some pretty decent online events you can enjoy at home that give you a break from the usual TV. Check out the top 8 events happening online this week…
We can finally start to look ahead to the latter half of 2021 with hope that our favourite gigs will be back. Here, we’ve got the rundown of all the top comedians planning on a trip to Hull & East Yorkshire as part of their post-lockdown tours...
You can now leave home for recreation outdoors such as a coffee or picnic with your household or support bubble, or with one person outside your household. We’ve rounded up some of our favourite takeout cafes and coffee shops to help make your outdoor recreation as enjoyable, and as safe, as possible.
