Hi ,
It's great to be back for another edition this week! It's been a while since I've edited the newsletter so it's good to say hello to you all!
First of all, I just want to say thank you if you've completed one of our newsletter surveys recently. The feedback is really helpful and I genuinely love to read your comments. It's great to hear how many of you are still enjoying what we do and we'll keep going and look to improve it where possible. If you'd like to provide feedback on today's newsletter, just see the feedback rating question about half way down.
Now onto the good stuff...
There's always so much going on around our region and we've compiled another great edition this week.
Hull & East Yorkshire is blessed with some great theatres bringing some world-class musicals to Hull alongside some brilliant independent productions you'll love. Our Liam has rounded up the best 12 shows he can find, coming to our local theatres this upcoming Autumn season.
Alongside great theatres, Hull & East Yorkshire has a fantastic independent restaurant scene. There are new openings very regularly so I asked our Ben to put together a list of the recent new openings you can try this next quarter.
If you're looking for great events this week, we also have our usual round up of the best events taking place; this week our Ian has found all sorts including theatre & film as part of the Freedom Festival, a family fun 'Big Bus Day' at Hull Museums Quarter and National Cinema Day too with all films just £3 including the fancy new screens at Cineworld!
Now we don't just cover events, we've got a round up of the biggest local news stories too! Whatever you get up to this week, I hope you have a great time. Thanks again for your support!
