Hello Friends!

Happy Friday! "Welcome back to "The Cre8tive Life!"- your weekly newsletter full of lifestyle tips, smiles, and cool things to check out!

These past couple of weeks have been quite crazed- and I got a bit off track, and had to miss last week---but, I am back! I was invited to attend one of my favorite event planner conferences, celebrated a milestone birthday for a dear friend, assisted with a gala, rode in some vintage trains, talked about life with both Gary "Vee" Vaynerchuk and Dr. Ruth, and FINALLY finished a book that I have been procrastinating with for over 5 months (you have to read Michelle Obama's "Becoming"- if you haven't already), plus a few other things. It has definitely been a whirlwind of activity that has left me feeling really inspired!

Be sure to check out my random pictures, video highlights, stories, and other life musings on my personal instagram page (@e101) and official brand page (@thecre8tiveartisan) throughout the week as well!

I hope that you have a great weekend, and upcoming week!

My weekly (random) compilation of some of my favorite "cre8tive" things that I want to share:

  • FAVORITE WORD: Woolgathering: (noun) indulgence in aimless thought or dreamy imagining; absentmindedness..

  • ADVICE:  "Be so rooted in your being that nobody's absence or presence can disturb your inner peace."

  • MOOD MUSIC: If you know me, you know that I am always a sucker for a good soulful raspy voice. And, this week's music mood is brought to you by a recent discovery I came across, The Teskey Brothers from Melbourne. I love this song they have called, "Rain." (*I'm throwing in this bonus one called, "So Caught Up" that I love as well).

  • MOVIE WORTH WATCHING: I recently and randomly decided to rent the movie "The Mule" and found it to be quite interesting.

  • RECIPE TO TRY: I became obsessed with buffalo cauliflower a little while back, and am always on the hunt to find it in the city. THIS RECIPE looks like something easy enough to try on my own- and has gotten good reviews. Let me know if you try it as well!

  • LIFESTYLE TIP: I came across THIS ARTICLE that shared some self-care wellness experiences around the world that may come in handy for those times when you find yourself needing a mental health escape.

  • SOMETHING I'M EXCITED ABOUT:  As I shared earlier, I FINALLY finished reading Michelle Obama's "Becoming." I recently learned earlier this week that she will be releasing THIS JOURNAL in November, and I can't wait!

I'm not feeling the best this morning, and have no "big" musing to wax poetic about today...So, in lieu of making sure that this newsletter gets out in time, I am just sharing a little inspirational visual. I hope that it will get you started to a great day and weekend! Remember to take care of yourselves!!!

This week's challenge is a seemingly "simple" one-take a some time to sit back and RELAX. I know that is a lot easier said than done for a lot of you- so, use this as your permission!

Thank you to everyone that has filled out the survey! I will be sharing some upcoming events that I have been working on in the next couple of newsletters- so stay tuned for more info and invites!

For those who haven't filled out the survey, I can definitely still use your feedback. So, if you have not done so already, please take  5 minutes to fill out:

Thanks sooooooo much in advance for your time!

***Totally disregard this part of the newsletter if you have already done this.

Lastly, if you happen to have any future topic ideas, or come across any events I should know about, PLEASE feel free to send those along my way. I always LOVE discovering and learning about new things!

Have a great day, and be sure to take time to enjoy your life!

*"The Cre8tive Life" is the weekly "feel good" component of my consultancy, The Cre8tive Artisan, which is where I "make the magic happen" and curate engaging lifestyle events that help connect us humans in deeper ways. Feel free to CHECK OUT MY WEBSITE to see what I do, and let me know if there is ever anything I can do to help you out! As always, if this newsletter is "not your thing", please feel free to unsubscribe (however, I really hope you don't).
