		University Outreach and Engagement Workshops
		Click here to view which sessions will be offered this summer as a series of special topics for faculty practitioners to discuss academic community-engaged learning at MSU. Community-engaged learning combines academic coursework with institutional resources to address community needs and challenges.

		US ISRAEL BI-NATIONAL SCIENCE FOUNDATION
		The US-Israel Bi-National Science Foundation will be accepting applications for its 2020 research grants. These grants require a US and Israeli scientist to collaborate on a specific research project. Grants are up to $230,000 over 2-4 years and are divided between the two PI’s. Contact Jennifer Jennings (jjenning@msu.edu) if you plan to apply.

Dr. John Verboncoeur and Dr. Scott Calabrese Barton, the Engineering Research Committee Chair, present on the reopening of research within the College of Engineering. This seminar served as an update on the current state of the reopening process. In addition, there were helpful resources that will help guide individuals through this reopening phase.
