AUGUST Newsletter

We’ve been so busy this year we haven't taken a moment to reflect. How can it be the end of summer already? Many of our clients have enjoyed recent success, and it's time to celebrate! In this newsletter we’ll share some of our finished projects, and pass on a few reading recommendations. There's still time for some rain, isn’t there?

RECENT Projects

"In Memory Of" Bilingual Website

We partnered with Southside Tucson artists Alex! Jimenez and Paloma Jaqueline, who constructed a large memorial to those who have died from COVID-19. They invited the local community to create clay tiles in memory of a loved one who has passed, or to submit the name of their loved one for inclusion on a name tile. The JRC team created a website to clearly communicate the purpose of the project and how people can participate. The colorful ceramic tiles informed the site's color palette and interactive icons, and both English and Spanish text was integrated seamlessly for accessibility.

Botánica Pictures Website

Botánica Pictures is a Latina owned storytelling house focused on creating transformational stories through film. Selina Morales and Alexis Garcia had very clear ideas of what they wanted for their first website, and we were pleased to pull it together quickly for them. The site is set up for their growth, which is already in sight with their first film, Daughter of the Sea winning multiple awards.
