EaP CSF Brussels Public Event Series marking 10 years anniversary of Eastern Partnership

The civil society perspective: Taking stocks of achievements and looking beyond 2020

The annual meetings of EaP CSF Working Groups in the spring of 2019 will serve as a springboard for a series of EaP CSF public events in Brussels, each focusing on different policy areas of EaP. What is to be learnt from the successes and failures of the EaP policy implementation? How can we mitigate the current risks and how can civil society improve its performance? How to develop the policy beyond 2020 and prevent its marginalisation?

The anticipated four EaP CSF public events, will discuss, in an interactive world café style, the major achievements delivered thanks to the EaP policy in partner countries, as well as the current trends and lessons learned from failures, informing future actions for civil society.

The debate at each of the EaP CSF Working Group events will have a special focus, involving high-level policy-makers, think tankers and civil society representatives. Among others, we invited Johannes Hahn, Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations and Tomáš Petříček, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, to speak at our event series.

Follow the event calendar below. Registration to individual events will start soon.

Invitations on individual events on the occasion of 10th anniversary of the EaP CSF will follow shortly. If you have any further questions, please contact us via: communications@eap-csf.eu
