Supporting Ilhan Omar and Other Black Women in Office

Getting more Black women elected to office is critical for (FINALLY) Making America Great, but we can't stop there.

Black women need our support while they are legislating!

This week, Movement for Black Lives (M4BL) brought hundreds of Black women together in Washington, DC to stand in solidarity with Rep. Ilhan Omar, who has been viciously targeted by Trump.

Kelly was there. She learned about a new organization called Network of Elected Women (NEW) that is looking to support women in office.

BlackHer Fact

According to the Workplace Bullying Insitute, "over 60 million US workers are affected by workplace bullying" and women and "protected" classes are bullied the most!  See charts below.

Happy Mothering Day!

Speaking of supporting and protecting Black women, Mother's Day is May 12th and we're SO excited to celebrate!

We are honoring the millions of moms in the US, who are holding it down against extraordinary odds.

Brunch and flowers are terrific but if you want to do something EXTRA special for your mother this week, email us your favorite photo of her and we'll share it on our Instagram page!

Be sure to tell us WHY you love your Mama so much!
