Radiant Landscapes

Discover Local Artist Jed Dorsey whose solo show "Radiant Landscapes" opens at Sunnyshore Studio on October 5th.

"Jed Dorsey is a capturer of light on canvas. His passionate use of color explodes onto canvas in a way that draws the viewer into the landscape.”

"I represent the fourth generation of artists on my mom’s side of the
family. My dad is also a professional artist. I always had the
opportunity to practice art as a child. I sold paintings as early as 11
years of age when my family had their “Dorsey Gallery” at the local
fair. I remember a few kind parents of my friends buying my paintings
for $10 which quickly turned into cotton candy and a few rides. As I
grew older other interests such as music and sports called for my time
and I didn’t paint much for several years."

Visions of 40 Artists

November 2

Artists have a unique and often magical way of seeing the world. On CAA's annual studio tour you can visit each artist individually and see where the magic happens, but this event will showcase the diversity of media and visions represented by Camano artists. This will be a wonderful opportunity for you to explore and compare their different approaches and visions; perhaps you will discover a new artist who touches your soul.

The event is free and open to the public. On Saturday, November 2nd, 10 am to 3 pm at the Camano Center, 606 Arrowhead Rd, Camano Island, WA. More on Facebook.

Anette Wachter

Jewelry Designer Anette Wachter is a NW native and created the RudBlu Jewelry brand several years ago. Her collection is designed around the signature RB Stainless Steel Beads that are turned on an old screw machine lathe. The tooling marks are left on to give beads texture and warmth. All of the sterling silver clasps, beads, and pendants are molded and cast. Everything is then brought together with stunning pearls and gemstones creating a jewelry line that is outgoing yet luxurious. The RudyBlu mission is to bring beauty and a feeling of empowerment to those that wear it. I want you to love wearing RudyBlu jewelry as much as I love creating it.
