Grundy County has been selected as a mass vaccination site by the State of Illinois. The site is managed by the Grundy County Health Department with support from the Illinois National Guard and contractual providers.
The site is located at the former Shabbona School in Morris and is operational up to six days a week, by appointment only, to those persons eligible in the current phases. Priority is given to those residents and members of the Grundy workforce who submitted an interest survey and are awaiting an appointment time.
The site is intended to expedite the delivery and administration of vaccine to local residents and then be available as a regional mass vaccination site.
