From our Facebook devotions
God loves you.
He loves every part of your being; spirit, soul and body.
Jesus died to heal you completely. He longs for your soul to prosper; to be full of His love, His joy, and His peace.
When the leper came to Jesus, wondering whether Jesus was willing to make him clean, Jesus assured him, "l am willing, be clean!"
Then Jesus reached out in love and touched this outcast who had been so rejected, and deprived of human contact and kindness for many years.
Jesus healed not just his body, but also his wounded soul. Jesus came to heal the brokenhearted. He wants your soul to prosper.
So draw near to Him today and let Him love you into wholeness.
"Beloved, l pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health even as your soul prospers." (3 John 1:2)
Our Facebook devotions are posted every Monday morning.
Facebook & YouTube Live Bible Studies
Did you know that our Facebook Bible Studies are now available on YouTube too!
Just search for Charis Dumfries, on either platform, and you'll be sure to find us!
Every Tuesday at 4pm Andrew & Jasmine broadcast live from the Dumfries campus. Having just completed a series on the second letter of Peter, on Tuesday 19 October they begin a new series on the letter of James, entitled, Practical Discipleship for Perilous Days.
The first episode offers encouragement for all those who have family members and friends yet to become Christians. Although James was the half-brother of Jesus, he was once an outsider to the faith, but after meeting the Risen Lord Jesus, he became the leader of the church in Jerusalem!
So let your friends know, there's hope yet!
