The Panida was built to create joy, to bring people together, to enrich our hearts and minds. It has long been a beacon in tough times. With the current virus concern, now declared a global pandemic, we cannot help but think of all those we know and care about around the world, and especially you, whom we have had the privilege to entertain. So we want to share more about what we are doing.
First and foremost, we care about everyone’s safety, and are closely monitoring the situation and guidance from the World Health Organization (WHO), and the CDC. Because the situation and policies vary by location, we encourage everyone to stay informed and follow the recommendations of your local health authorities. The Panida Theater is taking extra precautionary steps to clean and disinfect the theaters to promote piece of mind for patrons. We have 500 seats for you to pick your level of social distancing from. Wash your hands frequently with soap and/or alcohol-based sanitizers; avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth; cover your mouth or nose when you sneeze or cough; and maintain distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing. Of course, if you have a fever, cough, or difficulty breathing yourself, seek medical attention and avoid public places.
We will continue with our movie programming as our typical attendance for regular films is less than 50. A few of our larger presenters of events have postponed. Please follow our e-newsletter and website for any updates or changes to programming.
