Dear USET/USET SPF Family,
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is hosting a Listening Session to discuss the partial reopening of the comment period for a March 23, 2022 rulemaking. This discussion will focus on specific topics outlined in the Interim Final Rule that established the COVID-19 Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS). This rulemaking is separate from the Vaccination and Testing standard addressed by the Supreme Court earlier this spring. Rather, this rulemaking arises out of OSHA’s separate ETS published June 21, 2021 and could result in a permanent COVID standard limited to healthcare employers. OSHA is soliciting input on the applicability and implications of such a standard and any potential impact on healthcare facilities owned and operated by Tribal Nations.
Details on the date, time, and registration information is as follows—
