Dear USET/USET SPF Family,

Earlier today, USET/USET SPF President, Kirk Francis, appeared before the House Interior Appropriations Subcommittee to testify on Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 Appropriations and the President's Budget Request. In addition to advocating for our regional priorities, President Francis' testimony urged the Subcommittee and all Members of Congress to commit to delivering upon trust and treaty obligations through bold changes to federal funding. This includes support for meaningful implementation of Executive Order 14112 and work toward enacting a Marshall Plan for Tribal Nations.
