As you might already know, this year we’re hosting our flagship annual event in Brazil. NomadMania Conference 6 will take place in Ouro Preto on June 10–14.

Here’s a special video invitation from Angelo Oswaldo de Araújo Santos, the Mayor of Ouro Preto himself (in Portuguese).

What you might not have known is that by the end of December last year, all rooms originally allocated at the hotel for our event were completely sold out. As of now, the participant list has surpassed 100 people.

Due to continued interest from the community, we spoke with the hotel and were able to secure a limited number of additional rooms. So if you missed the original registration last year, this is your chance to join us.

NomadMania Meetings Around the World

In the meantime, we’re actively working on reviewing NomadMania regions across most countries, and our local communities are increasingly hosting meetings around the world to discuss this important topic.

Just last week, our members came together in Dublin, Dubai, and Bangkok to talk travel and exchange views on the upcoming regional changes to the Masterlist.

Community is at the heart of NomadMania. During this transitional period, we rely heavily on local knowledge and insights from our members, and we’ll be announcing the first changes very soon.

We’re also expecting dozens of new member-hosted events around the world. We warmly invite you to host your own NomadMania event — whether at your home base or anywhere else on the globe.

Setting one up takes a few clicks. Here’s a brief guide to get you started.

Concerning news from Cameron Mofid

We have some concerning news from our member Cameron Mofid, one of the youngest people to have visited every country and a nominee for Most Purposeful Traveller at the NomadMania Travel Awards 2023.

This matter is closely connected to Cameron’s charity work in Nigeria.

Please read his full message in our Facebook post.

[TOUR] Bangladesh Total Immersion

We are delighted to announce a renewed opportunity to join an all-encompassing ‘modular’ trip to Bangladesh — this time in partnership with Extraordinary Travel Fest, immediately after ETF in Bangkok (October 22–25).

For this trip we will check all 5 NomadMania regions of Bangladesh and we will also visit all 3 UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the country: the Ruins of the Buddhist Vihara at Paharpur, the Historic Mosque City of Bagerhat, and the Sundarbans.

Expect a well-rounded route that balances Dhaka’s historic core, tea country in the northeast, the archaeological heartland around Rajshahi, and the river-and-mangrove south.

ETF attendee benefit: verified ETF 2026 participants receive a 5% discount on the published price (see COST).
