Follow the problem statements 😩

I shared some thoughts on Twitter recently about how as makers and entrepreneurs it can be easy to get lured in to running after an open segment in the market. However the excitement of "nobody's doing this yet!" can be misleading. Make sure you are running towards the customer pains and problem statements. And those are typically found in market segments where there are already competitors.

As an entrepreneur I actually prefer this because it means 2 things:

1) There is validation that you can build a business here
2) There is a pool of educated customers who know what they want

Try locating this type of customer. They usually make problem statements about the products they currently pay for like "I wish it did X." Forums, community pages, and social media are great places to locate comments like this. Once you find them, zero in on the pains and see how your product can address them. When you solve customer pains, you'll win! πŸ’Šβœ¨πŸ†

Now, let's meet some new no-code peeps.

⚑ Meet Integromat - Advanced Automations Made Easy

Integromat is my new favorite toy, hands down. I'm sure you've heard of it, but until you've sat with it and experienced the power of what it can do it may not be clear just how amazing this tool is.

You may have noticed by now that I'm a big fan of automation. I've used many tools including Integromat's counterparts like Zapier and Tray. Where Integromat shines is that it strikes the perfect combination of power and ease of use. I started my journey with Integromat with it being what I would revert to when I ran into a need that Zapier couldn't handle. Now, I start with it.

Their website has a great tutorials section that is a good starting place to learn about some of their key modules like routers, filters, and iterators. I recommend you start there. And if you're looking for a good example of what can be built with Integromat, check out this Twitter app I made recently.

πŸ‘‹ Meet Wa'il Ashshowwaf - @WailAshshowwaf

Wa'il is the CEO & Founder of Unstuck Labs, a 12-week startup studio focused on revolutionizing the way founders build startups. He's a UI/UX designer and no-code enthusiast.

I met Wa'il through the no-code community and got a chance to spend some time with him recently. The success that he's had with Unstuck Labs and the focus and passion he has for social impact is so inspiring to me. He's fun to talk to, positive, and incredibly knowledgeable in what it takes to get a startup off the ground.

If you're not already you should start following Wa'il and get inspired by what he's building!

πŸš€ Meet Take-Out - Food Delivery App Concept

Take-Out is a concept for a food delivery app built by Marco Cornacchia. When I came across this I immediately knew I had to share it with you. In this site, Marco takes you through the entire concept of the app, the problem it solves, and even the competitive analysis. Not only is it a great app idea, but it's an insanely well done site.

The project stack consists of Figma, Notion, Typeform, and Whimsical. And the site was built with Webflow. You've got to check out the site, the way it walks you through each element of the UI as you scroll is peak user experience. 😍
