Singapore’s Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music offers weekly short online recitals you its students. TALK - ARTISANS AT HOME, Online, Friday January 22nd 8.30pm

Azmi Hussin talks through his journey as a sketch artist, and his comic books and puts on a small demo on his caricature drawing. Azmi Hussin is a Penang-based sketch artist known for his eclectic portrait sketches and murals. Please note Azmi will conduct this session in a mix of Bahasa Malaysia and English.

TALK - NATURE-BASED CLIMATE SOLUTIONS, Online, Tuesday 26th January 5pm-6pm

Renowned ecologist and environmental scientist Lian Pin Koh speaks about the promises and pitfalls of nature-based climate solutions - ways of leveraging Nature’s superpower of carbon storage and sequestration through photosynthesis to help us tackle the challenge of climate change. Although nature-based solutions have great potential for addressing climate impacts, they are not without trade-offs that may limit their outcomes.

MUSIC - BLOSSOMING, Jetty 35, Weld Quay, Sunday February 28th 3pm

Blossoming, brings together music and drawing, and music and yoga in a unique programme. In the aftermath of her ordeal with domestic violence, local artist Prabh Lahari found freedom of expression through the arts to portray the insights she gained through that difficult period of time and the time after. Her artwork will be accompanied by music exclusively composed by local composer Lawrence Chiu.
