What a crazy 24 hours it has been in regards to news with AIR MILES! Early in the afternoon on March 9 Bloomberg news reported that AIR MILES parent company Loyalty Ventures was preparing to file for bankruptcy. There was panic and a mad scramble by members to redeem miles rather than losing them.
This was followed up this morning by BMO announcing they have entered into an agreement to buy the program from Loyalty Ventures, who has now officially declared bankruptcy!
