This colorway was actually not one of mine, it was the owner's picks from last year that happened to get released recently because it's a more summer-appropriate theme rather than winter. But I just love the rose-gold color scheme. The pictures do not do it justice. It does not look like your grandmother's couch in person, it looks perfectly soft and gilded and wedding-ready.

As soon as I saw the embossed gold vinyl with the color accent inlay, it immediately reminded me of ancient damascened metalwork, and I knew I wanted to make a dark, sumptious D&D themed corset around it.

 I originally wanted to make the metallic vinyl going across the whole center front like a stomacher of armor, but apparently the rubbing from the busk + thick embossed vinyl = A Bad Time™ both for ease of getting it clasped, and for the longevity of the fabric.

As disappointed as I was about scrapping my original design, I'm appreciative of the factory for pointing out potential flaws or weaknesses so that we can all stand by the lifetime guarantee and create a long-lasting quality design.

I also wanted to use velvet for the jeweltone panels, but both the embossed vinyl and the velvet are pricey, so my original design would have necessitated TT to increase their price. 

Since we're officially in a recession, in the spirit of keeping the corsets affordable for everyone, I opted for a decently nice mattified satin to offset the cost of the vinyl.

I'm still happy with the outcome, as far as the limitations of OTR goes. And the piping accents on the Priestess is just superb.
