The next Bennington City Council meeting is this Monday, Dec. 10, at 6:30 p.m. Regular meetings are on the second Monday of the month in the new city offices (the former library space). The full agenda is available on the city's website.
Among others, topics will include:
- A final vote on the annexation of Prairie Hollow, the new development east of Molley and Stark streets. With annexation, the already approved development will become part of the city.
- Discussion of a speed bump on N. 2nd Street.
- Discussion on the sale of the former city office, which is no longer needed after offices moved to the former library space.
- An update on the 156th Street project, which aims to improve traffic flow between Bennington Road and Highway 36.
If you have questions about any of these issues, please let me know. I probably don't know the answer yet, but I will find out!
My goal is to send an update like this before every meeting and another one after the meeting. If you're not on this e-mail list and want to join, just e-mail me at email@example.com.
Stay warm this weekend!
