Hi everyone,
Alrighty, it's literally almost the last month of the year!
Look folks, this IFA jobs newsletter I send out every now and then is NOT for the coasters, rip-off artists or "gentlemen" who hate to get their hands dirty. It's for the rest of you out there.
What I do is for the active financial advisor who works hard because he /she wants to live better. The effort I put in is for you who know the value of a buck , -those willing to trade a few drops of sweat for the chance to make their mark.
The truth is that our industry was built on the sweat and hard work of many people like yourself. It's no secret that it’s becoming harder and harder, especially for new folks, to enter the market in certain jurisdictions with all these RDR style rules and regulations coming in.
That is why it makes sense to speak to someone like myself, now more than ever with the world still in COVID chaos. We all know the conveyor belt system used by some big firms out there, right? 100 in, 70 out, 20 last a few weeks, 10 give in their all, 5 more fall out and perhaps 2 really make it in the end. Well, by now you probably know that I don't work with those types, no matter who they are.
My first IFA job was with a Brittex style firm out in Botswana no less. 20mins after I landed in a new country, I was in my first meeting !! -- (on a side note, I'm happy to this month place my then-rockstar coordinator / BDM back in 2010 as an advisor with one of my Mauritian clients . Wow, 10years later! Go Matilda !!)
The thing is this -- I get to see things from ALL sides of the IFA table, so those serious enough and not messing around quickly see what they get from working with me, potentially saving themselves a lot of hassle and perhaps biased opinions and what not down the line.
My advice and career recommendations are free, and my experience dealing with the IFA companies I choose to work with is REAL and first hand. I pretty much know "who's who in the zoo" out there, and so it's in my best interest to make sure you get the best fit possible less the “were so great, or special or different" hyped nonsense. I say it like it is so folks know exactly what they’re in for. Right, enough talking, its almost Christmas for Pete's sakes, so let's get down to some of the top jobs out there !
