Who is Slade?

Born 1940, Solomon Winston, a.k.a. 'Slade' is a hold-over from the 1950s. An original 'juvenile delinquent' who tried to straighten out in the Army, but just spent too many days in the Stockade before being (barely) honorably discharged and sent on his way to San Fe New Mexico.

Forever running afoul of the law, Slade's just an overgrown bully used to getting his way. His aggressive ways was a natural in-road to forming the notorious biker gang known as The Banshees in 1962, where they carved out an uncontested swath of influence from the Mexico border all the way up to Montana.

People get out of Slade's way because he has a mean temper. Once he caught a guy stealing the gas cap off his Harley. The guy was on life support for 6 weeks after they found what was left of him nailed up to a 7-Up billboard 10 miles outside of Las Cruces. Slade is mean and petty and cruel...

... on a summer day in 1974 Cal Ryder sprayed Slade in the face with a can of spray paint.
