Continue clean up of winter debris, trim off dead wood and stems, rake, fertilize shrubs, plant, and mulch.
Fertilize palms using a formula that contains magnesium and manganese. Non-native palms must be fertilized to look their best.
Replace declining winter annuals with varieties such as Angelonia and Salvia that will provide color now and into the summer months.
Prune azaleas just after plants finish blooming to shape or produce a fuller plant.
