Laureate of Global Lithuanian Awards 2018, Co-founder of Cujo AI, global cybersecurity company based in L.A., and a rear guest in Lithuania. Einaras was the only Lithuanian invited to speak at World Economic Forum 2019 in Davos to represent Technology Pioneers and talk about global cybersecurity challenges. With Einaras we will discuss what Lithuania can do better to increase its stand among global elite.

Jurga Žilinskienė | UK

An entrepreneur and founder of global translations company Guildhawk (previously Today Translations),  recently honoured by Her Majesty The Queen with a Queen‘s Award for Enterprise in International Trade as recognition in breaking down global barriers. Referring to Brexit, Jurga says that geopolitical situations will continue to impact businesses large and small, however, our task is to find a way to build resilience and evolve constantly.

Former scientist at CERN in Switzerland, currently leading Vilnius University center for collaboration with CERN. Aurelijus says it is smart technologies that will soon prevail all aspects of our lives, and Lithuania has a great potential to lead, if we act wise.

The summer visits of global professionals bring back the tradition of summer Export Clubs organized in cooperation with Enterprise Lithuania. On June 7, it was devoted to doing business in and exporting products to the USA.

MJJ Fondas | 7 Grants for Global Academics

Marius Jakulis Jason's non-profit foundation MJJ fondas recently announced 7 scientists to grant with total amount of  220.900 euros to come back to Lithuania and perform their researches here. See all returning scientists here. 

Having escalated the topic during the Forum of Global Lithuanian Professionals, we are extremely happy that discussions are being put into actions and the most talented global Lithuanians will be able to improve our country's global standing thanks to the grants by the foundation.  

Academic Buddy | Call for Mentors

Mentorship program Academic Buddy calls for mentors! If you know someone studying at TOP universities of the UK, France or USA, encourage them to share their experiences with young talents of Lithuanian schools.

Academic Buddy aims to assist motivated and eager school graduates to enter and integrate the best global universities no matter the income of their families. Such cooperation is apt to increase the competence level of Lithuanian professionals in general.

Applications for mentorship are accepted until July 10th.

Welcome Saul Umbrasas, Senior VP at San Diego based e-Band Communications LLC, who has recently joined our network as GLL Business Advisor. Saul moved to the USA couple of decades ago and made an impressive carrier. He is an executive and entrepreneur who started several technology companies, raised millions of dollars in private equity and strategic funding, negotiated partnerships and M&As with billion-dollar companies, and developed a global business by establishing sales operations and distribution channels throughout USA and in half of countries of the World. A rather frequent visitor in Lithuania, Saul has recently joined a supervisory board of Modus Group.

Chicago-based Aurimas Adomavičius of Devridge believes in Lithuanian talent and expands the operations here. Brothers Dailides of  Pixelmator have won their second Apple design award, this time for their Pixelmator Photo app for iPad. Sixth year in a row, Philadelphia-based Ray Bartkus brings an international team of artists for Malonny project in Marijampolė to make it the centre of global street art. Brothers Vizbarai of Brolis Semiconductors came up with new technology to be widely used in healthcare. And that's just a few!
