The style is breezy and easy, with attractive colors and fairly solid composition. The pacing is well done; I felt the story moved along at a good clip without feeling like I was being rushed.
As with a lot of these types of stories, they dwell on the 'fate of the universe' trope but you and I know fully well we're only going to see the action from two groups mainly: the good guys and the bad guys. Worldwide (or cosmic-wide) consequences are pre-ordained in these kinds of tales as a dramatic backdrop. (I always wondered why a villain needs to take over the world? Why not a good portion of New Jersey?)
