Connecting People to Christ for Life

We are very excited to be able to come back together inside for worship.  Things will look a little different when we gather.  Please remember that much of these changes will be temporary, and we will all be learning together as we make adjustments along the way.
Things to Know When Coming to Worship

  • You must sign up ahead of time!  You can call the church office or sign up online using this link  You must be signed into CCB for this link to work.  If you get to the sign in page there are prompts to help you get signed in.  If you arrive Sunday morning without signing up, you run the risk of things being too crowded.
  • THE WORSHIP SCHEDULE HAS CHANGED – Attendance is capped at 100 people
    • Saturday – 6:00pm
    • Sunday – 8:00 – 9:15 – 10:15 – 11:15
    • Immanuel North (Outside 9:30) No need to sign up for this service.
  • If you are sick or caring for a sick person – PLEASE STAY HOME!  This is by far the best thing we can do as a congregation to keep people healthy.
  • You must wear a mask while in worship!  This is a temporary requirement.  If you have a health condition that prevents you from wearing a mask, or if you have a very young child that will not keep a mask on then we understand.  Just do the best you can.
  • You must enter through Door #1 – Canopy Entrance!  Someone will be there to check you in.  Please do your best to social distance while waiting to get into the building.
  • You will exit through Door #2!  This will help with people traffic.
  • Every other pew will be closed!  Please use social distancing while finding a seat.  There will be volunteers who can help you find a seat.
  • Where should I sit?  If you are a large family group, then please sit in the middle of the smallest open pew you can find.  If you are a smaller family group, then please try and sit on the ends of the pews.  Smaller groups on ends and large groups in the middle.
  • Visiting should take place outside!  We know you will want to talk with friends.  Please do so outside in the fresh air where you can remove masks and spread out.
  • No Nursey or Christ for Kids! This again is temporary.
  • The schedule will be tight!  You are gong to feel rushed to get out of the building at the end of the service.  We apologize for this, but we need to be able to clean things between services.
  • Cleaning Surfaces!  Volunteers will clean surfaces between each service.
  • The Lord’s Supper – We will celebrate the Supper at all services this weekend and Pastor Richard will explain how it will work during worship and in the section below.

Mini-Worship Services - Every Wed. at 11 am

  • You may only attend the service you signed up to attend.
  • Please do not enter the building more than 15 minutes before service.
  • Please wear a mask when entering the building. If you are having difficulty getting a handmade face mask, please call the church office.
  • Enter and exit through Door #1.
  • The Narthex and Sanctuary are the only areas open to the public.
  • There is no time to visit inside the building. Please say hello outside.
  • You are doing a great job signing up online. It is ok to see your name multiple times when you are signing up multiple people in your home.  If you need help call the church office.  As we begin to open up to more people, we will be taking attendance upon you entering the building.

There is one Mini-worship service each week on Wednesday at 11:00am that will be reserved for those in the “high risk” category or those uncomfortable being with larger groups at this time.  This will be the schedule for the rest of the summer for Wednesday Mini-worship services.

Sign up for July 15th

Caring & Sharing – Stewardship in Difficult Financial Times

The Scriptures teach us to be First Fruits Percentage Givers.  That means we give according to what God has given us and we make those gifts a priority in our life.  This kind of Scriptural giving works when things are going well, and it works when things are not going well.

If you are struggling financially then your percentage gift will automatically go down – no guilt, no shame, and no questions asked.  If that’s the case, we should be asking you, “How can we help.”  That’s the way it is supposed to work.

However, if you have had no change in your current income, then we simply ask you to be faithful in your percentage giving.  God loves a cheerful giver and so we want to make it easy for you to give.  You, of course, can mail your offering to the church office, but we strongly encourage you to set up Electronic Giving through our website by clicking the link below.  Thank you for helping us Connect People to Christ for Life!

Put Your Faith into Words

Does life matter? Am I making a difference? Recent events have caused most of us to reconnect with our understanding of how “short” our present lives are. Yet instead of saying, “I only have one life to live, I better do the best I can,” as followers of Jesus we respond, “I have been called into an amazing inheritance in God’s Kingdom in Jesus. I want to impact as many people possible with that gift.” Crafting a statement that puts your faith into words can be an important tool for family conversations today, or a final statement you place in your will. Ray Pagels, our Gift Planning Counselor is ready to assist you in writing this statement. Contact Ray at 847-226-2262 or
