Business Ideas and Stories 💼

You really can make money in the weirdest ways

Recently, a Youtuber went viral for selling her farts in a jar. Turns out, this isn't actually that unusual. Some people even make money streaming their farts on camera.

What's the lesson in this?

We live in a weird world. Don't be afraid to try something just because it seems too weird. You might land yourself in a viral niche.

What's the weirdest thing you've ever done to make money? Hit reply and let me know! Maybe I'll feature some in next week's newsletter.

$300,000 in 10 months selling NFTs

NFTs are game-changing for artists. Previously, there was no way to sell authentic art online. Now there is. And if you can create a community around your art and find people who are passionate about it, you can make really good money.

Lana Denina made $300,000 in 10 months with her Mona Lana collection, all while having less than 10,000 followers on Twitter.

What's really cool is that there are already tools like this NFT Generator to help you make an NFT collection with no code. This is a similar idea to selling shovels during the gold rush.

Some other ways to make money from NFTs without having to actually make them yourself could include:

  • Helping projects build/manage their community
  • Flipping NFTs
  • Creating an NFT marketplace like OpenSea

Building a $30k/month cleaning biz in 18 months

Service businesses continue to impress me. While I love making money online, I'd honestly consider starting a cleaning business if my online endeavors ever go down the drain.

This thread is a good outline on how to get started.

Tyler and Becca spent $1,000 to get their cleaning business started and, right off the bat, they picked a niche: high-income suburban moms. That way they could design their brand and sales process toward that specific customer, increasing conversions bringing in repeat business.

They also started with high rates: $65/hour. Here's why:

"We knew if we could find a few customers willing to pay those kind of prices, there was a market for us to build a real business. And we knew when it came time to hire employees, we could use those high margins to afford better talent."

Master one thing and focus

Applies to business and investing:

People already gearing up for the next big thing in crypto.

News flash. People who get rich master one thing and focus.

Defi. NFTs. Gaming. Yield farming. Roll ups. Etc.

If your always chasing the next big thing, you always be leaving too soon.

I’ll be here in gaming.
