I Love Summer!
Summer is almost here. So far, spring has been wetter and cooler than normal. Warmer weather is coming to Chicago soon. Can't wait.
I have completed 37 chapters on my new book. I had to revise my outline several times so far as the story develops. I hope I haven't slowed down the action too much, but it's taken me more time than I thought to develop the characters and revise the plot lines. I think it is working okay so far and I am trying to broaden the story to set up the first book in my new series. The book begins in the 2030's timeframe with an alien who wants to meet with the President, but is being held at Area 51 for interrogation by a secret organization within our government. You can guess at all the chaos this will cause if the alien gets a chance to go public. A lot of new space travel technology is used in this story and I hope it is believable to readers.
