All those articles telling you where to go in 2024?

We're already on 2025 (and 2026).

It’s that time of year—that is, the beginning of a new one. And around here, that means we’re planning 12 to 30 months out. 

There are always “hot lists” from publications for the upcoming year. Perhaps they’re accurate, or maybe they’re just hype gleaned from tourism authorities.

But I’m interested in YOUR hot list.

Each January, Mon Voyage kicks off with a client survey to determine some of our small group destinations for the following year.

Although in principle we are looking at filling in the remainder of 2025, your responses also influence future planning even beyond that.

The survey is short—just a few questions—but think over your responses a little bit before submitting your answers. Rather than having a huge number of positive reactions for every choice on the list, you’ll be asked to prioritize your selections or even limit yourself to those you would be most likely to join.

That said, you’re not committing yourself to anything! But your feedback is critical in Mon Voyage Small Group Trip planning, and I truly appreciate the time you will spend on this short survey.

While 2025 may seem a long way off, it's closer than you think when it comes to planning for high-demand destinations. Not long ago, our 2024 trip to Vietnam and Cambodia seemed so far away--and now it's in a couple of weeks.

The last question is actually a suggestion box. Please consider the places you dream of going in the future—perhaps others share the same ideas and we can plan a MVSGT around your common submissions. Several past trips—Cuba, Ireland, Portugal, Spain, France, Yosemite and Yellowstone—have come directly from frequently-noted destinations on client wish lists.

Indeed, I do already have a few trips in the works for 2025 and they are part of the survey. But that accounts only for about half of the trips I hope to offer for 2025, and we’re now even working on early 2026.

I can’t wait to see where we’ll travel together in 2025 and beyond--or what private trips I'll be able to design for you.

We still have room on this fabulous, feature-filled fortnight in Santorini, Crete, and Athens. But I'm meeting with several couples this week and availability may shrink in very short order! The trip will be Sept. 1-15, 2024.
